So- which is your favourite add of the year and why?

I guess you can tell my favourite. :D Ashley in MC definitaly. That's the most beautiful add ever- hands down.
I did love MK in EW too though- so cute (outfit expecially)!

Amazing post! I love all these posts with looks throughout the year. Its so hard to pick a favorite, but I think I'm going to have to agree with you on Ashley in MC. :)

Awesome post! I really love all the shoots, but I have to say Ashley in MC is just the best. Sooo gorgeous! Although I really loved MK in Nylon too.

mary kate is so friggin gorgeous. her photos seems more natural than ashleys too, ash seems more pose-y.

oh god i really can't choose. i mean, hands down the best shoot of the year is ash in marie clare. i mean, it was just such a fucking amazing shoot. i have to agree with you & [info]_phishfood, the soda can idea was just so avante garde & than the added bobby pin just completes the whole look. it's as though, in that shoot, each one individual idea could showcase the whole thing. there's so many separate, incredible looks.

& i feel like mk's shoot for HP had the potential to be AMAZING, but the hair just took away from it. i love the clothing, though.

however, for mk, i love how the nylon shoot just really showcased her personal style, quirkiness, etc -- for instance, in the "you" shoot, it doesn't seem like something mk would wear at all. the photos are stunning but it's just so much more restricted and polish that mk is. plus, the nylon cover has an amazing interview!

though, i must wrap up by saying i adored the little indian pictures sooo very much. & im so terribly glad i went out and bought that vogue italia (regardless of the price!) because those photos are just so artistic and beautiful.

okay so i just wrote a boat load, but great postttt!!!

ashley looks gorgeous in those marie claire photos, but my favorite would go to mk's bazaar shoot, e.w. runner up.

the short red hair in that shoot was just incredibly complementary to her outfits and so striking, simply brilliant, as always. i would have never thought of that for her, but its perfectly unconventional and really just the photographs themselves, the set and attention to detail was really top notch.

wow, mary-kate scored the big ones.
my fave was her harper's bazaar. i mean, seriously, if you want to look for edgy and avante-garde, that is IT.
i do like ashley's mc shoot, but it was just like beauty shot after beauty shot, cliche pose after cliche pose. the only thing that was memorable for me were the soda cans--now THAT i can appreciate. along with the beaaautiful clothes she wore.

i have to agree. the hair was really interesting, and the contrast between the androgenous ash and the super girly blonde ash threw me for a loop.
and someone in my house stole my mk in bazaar mag. ahh!!

just a comment! mk in her bazaar shoot is wearing a blue dress which looks very similar to the one ash is wearing for mc shoot! :) it's the fourth picture down, where she's on the couch. can't see it very well, but it does look like the same dress, cut and all.
